I typically use inks for distressing edges, but there are many other ways to use them. I will be showing how to make a patterned background using a few paper stencils and some ink blenders.

Scrapbook Layout
Diy, Graphic design, Tools, Graphic, Wedding, Scrapbooking, Color, Crafts, LayoutCommentSo I have done it, I have created a full page and loved every minute of creating it! I started with one of our Sepia toned wedding photos and built my page around that. I decided to go with a mono print background I did in dark, rich colors and one of my background stamps. Then I added some paper rosettes with enamel dots and buttons and layered those onto a paper heart. To mount the photo I chose to round my corners and used some Distress Ink on the mat to keep that vintage theme going. I used a quote from our wedding invitations and more Distress Ink. I adhered the photo with foam tape and added another paper flower with a rain stone center.
To do the mono print background I used the Creative Palette from Stampendous an I found it to be very easy to use and clean.
I will be doing more projects like this soon with videos, thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
