I have been busy making things like there is no tomorrow! I just realized I haven't posted anything in over a week, so today, here is a crafty, sewing showcase.

Let's start with the baby quilt that is a companion to the "Amelia" quilt I made.

Just like the other one, but different colors.

Just like the other one, but different colors.

I also decided to try working on my own fabric by putting my drawings on mug rugs and I started with one of the Jelly Friends, Tamber Melon and my resident Meowfox Mr. Snugglekins.

Hi guys!

Hi guys!

Then I coordinated background fabric and attached them to the centers.

Finally I applied backing and binding.

All done!

I cannot stress enough how happy it makes me to create things and I am so happy to have a new way to create by being able sew things and quilt.  I wish I'd been doing it forever, but I'm happy I started at all. I encourage you to start doing whatever it is you would like to do, today!!! I have learned to knit, crochet, paper craft, and sew...in the last 5 years! I keep telling anyone who will listen that I am so happy I started seeing because there's this whole world of fabric and patterns that I have access to now! I am really enjoying sewing and I look forward to improving as I keep working! Tomorrow I will be posting a video about making inked backgrounds for your layouts, happy crafting!

So I am really trying to keep up with this! I designed this card for one of my friends who does ballet workouts! I came up with the drawing, fussy cut it and then did a watercolor background.

I used foam tape on my fit chick and cut a craft dowel down to make the barre. I have a post for Quick Quotes coming up soon and after that I will be reviewing the Zig Clean Color 48 pack. Thanks for stopping by, happy crafting!

I was thinking of something fun to do for my friend, she's a teacher, and I thought personalized notecards would be a good idea. I made 10 cards using a small Recollections stamp set I've had forever, a scallop punch, some distress inks, and some Copic markers.

Halfway through the process.

Halfway through the process.

It took me about an hour to make them and then I let the Stickles dry, so let's say an hour and a half. I made two of each design.

Before being personalized.

Then I made a word document to add the name and cut it out, then rounded and inked the edges.

I also added a little Wink of Stella to some of them.

Now I'll put them in an acetate box and mail them to her for some awesome happy mail. Try these out, they're super easy to make and they will give you a chance to use any small stamps you have around, happy crafting!

Hi everyone! This post just to capture the last of my cards and artwork for the week. I made this card for a challenge, the prompt was "Cup".

#muglife

#muglife

This was done by drawing the cup on watercolor paper, using Tombow brush pens to color and then embossing the #muglife.

i also found the time to do some more hand lettering.

I used a mixture of Pitt artist pens, Sharpie Fine, Le Pen, and Copic markers for this one. Took about 2-2.5 hours from start to finish, hopefully I'll get faster. I'll be starting next week with a 10 minute card, until then Happy Crafting!
